We subscribe to lapidary publications so that your hobby can be kept up to date with new ideas and projects. Monthly competitions judged by an accredited judge. Encouraging participation in Competitions at Interclub level, State (Gemkhana ) and National (GEMBOREE - Easter). Classes:- List your name in the Classes Register in the natter room to be included in the next class. All teachers are volunteers. Note:- Junior members from 12 years to 16 years of age can participate in all club activities, but, to use the grinders or saws in the workshop, must, at all times, be under the close supervision of a parent who has completed the cabochon course. All Committee members, duty officers, teachers and members are volunteers in administering, maintaining, and helping the club to promote the art of lapidary and encouraging members to improve in their craft. Field Trips:- Take part in regular field trips and be advised as to when they're on. Club Shows & Events:- Exhibition on 10th and 11th October at 964 Nepean Highway, Moorabbin, Victoria. Where we display the work done by our members and demonstrate how we do it. |
